Behind Reiwadatschi is Benedikt from Munich - motorcycle enthusiast, mechanic and adventurer. The name, a mixture of his nickname \u201eReiwy\u201c and the Bavarian \u201eDatschi\u201c, stands for humor and love of his homeland.<\/p>

Benedikt has now covered 92,000 kilometers on his Yamaha T700 - through countries such as Tunisia and Morocco, always on the lookout for new routes, conversions and stories.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My first bike was a Yamaha MT-07, so it was more or less the same bike as now, just the road version. Back then, I wanted to travel more and needed space for more luggage and more comfort on the road. Off-road riding wasn't really that important to me at the beginning.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After 5 years and 92,000 kilometers, the T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 has already undergone some work, but it's not finished yet. The design is of course immediately noticeable. For example, I had the rims repainted and applied a robust laminate film with my own design. The chassis has now been replaced and small parts, such as a Adjustable windshield rail<\/a>, increase comfort enormously on tours. You are so independent of other influences, and by that I mainly mean traffic and road surfaces. No matter where you want to go, the bike takes you there, and no matter how many other drivers are blocking the roads with traffic jams, the bike is so agile and flexible that it's hard to stop.
This combination is unique for me.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhile I used to ride a tour every weekend, this has now been reduced to a few targeted after-work laps. But the Sylvenstein reservoir and the toll road to the Eng are classics. A real highlight, especially in the fall. No traffic, winding roads and a beautiful landscape.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Most pictures and videos are taken spontaneously and the data archive is much larger than what ends up on the internet. However, the shots that require the most effort, such as filming myself with a tripod, always end up being my favorites. It's always worth the effort.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Of course, I always have to have a camera with me. I used to take a large SLR camera, but now it's a small compact camera or a drone. In addition to other useful gadgets, I now always have a small compressor with me, because the right air pressure makes for a lot of safety and driving fun when off-roading.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After my second visit to North Africa in 2025, I fell in love with this region. Ideally together with a handful of friends, because countries like Morocco are simply an off-road paradise. For 2026, I'm also planning to take part in more off-road events such as the Bosnia Rally.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After testing a few other bikes in 2025, I'm still very convinced on my T7. The only thing I would like is 4 liters more tank, because sometimes you don't have that little reserve when you ride offroad all day. And I find the 23 liters of the T7 World Raid too much...<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Currently, Morocco and also Bosnia. It's very spacious there for off-road riding and still easy to get to. I used to really want to go to the North Cape, but I've put that off for the distant future as long as I'm still riding studded tires.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
