May O-trip 2023

The May orientation ride - short: Mai-O-Fahrt - of the Hamburg XT500 Stammtisch.

Many thanks to the organizers - XT veteran Björn, who spent countless hours planning the route and scoring the points. Thanks also to our hosts "Dodge City" in Fitzen / Schleswig-Holstein.

Around 70 riders competed in teams.
A road book was used to navigate through the landscape, which was definitely suitable for XT, in order to collect points.

After a cold and wet arrival on Friday, we were all rewarded with an all-round perfect Saturday. Weather, route and party evening in Dodge City - everything was great.
Sunday: Breakfast in the sun - then it was off home: Hamburg, Hesse, Belgium, the Palatinate, the Rhine... Many on their own, that's the way it has to be.

We were at the Scrambler Fever in Poland last weekend and it was really good again! 2 days of rattling through the woods with about 70 other enduro enthusiasts. Due to the extreme drought, many forest roads were a sandy hell. Everyone cursed about it, many crashed but everyone had a big grin on their face afterwards. More about this event soon....
