Hello dear friends and SR enthusiasts,
We KEDOs are pleased to present you our latest creation - a Yamaha SR400FI built in 2014, lovingly refined and named Shinjuku' baptized.
This project was more than just a rebuild for us; it was a look at Japan, the motherland of the Yamaha SR. A look at Tokyo and Japanese culture.
Shinjuku - The modern-traditional nightlife district of Tokyo - a place to live and experience, with countless restaurants and bars, light, atmosphere and encounters.
A name that simultaneously stands for elegance, modernity and tradition - values that we have integrated into the Yamaha SR400.
The sleek, simple design not only reflects our commitment to aesthetics, but also pays homage to the clean lines and simple beauty found on the streets of Shinjuku. We wanted to ensure that every line and detail of this remodel captures the essence of this vibrant Tokyo district.
As we all know, it is the small details of a motorcycle that determine its character.
To make the appearance of the SR400 more elegant and filigree, we have made changes to many parts of the SR400. Handlebars, indicators, rear light and seat benches are traditional components whose design determines the appearance of a machine. We have gone even deeper.
In order to create the silhouette of the Shinjuku' to be significantly more elegant and agile, we offer you a flatter and shorter seat that is equipped with a matching rump and coordinated decor. We have adjusted the tank position by raising it.
Together with the lowered instruments and the low handlebars, the result is a wonderfully flat line. We have perfectly matching indicators with gold accents for you. There are elegant end caps on the coated fork.
We have also worked on and tuned the inner workings of the fork. Not only the look - the handling has also been adapted and defined. At the rear, the YSS shock absorbers have a very attractive look and also offer further adjustment options.
Our special side covers are a very stylish detail. Here, we have also worked with the accent color gold to highlight the air scoops with matching decors. A further step towards elegance and sportiness.
Absolute highlights: The dragpipe and the e-starter extension.
Start at the push of a button and cruise elegantly through the sea of city lights with the beloved single-cylinder beat. Simply incomparable.

SR400FI year2014 - Original
SR400 - Shinjuku' by KEDO
Our team threw themselves into the revision of this SR400 with passion and an eye for detail. Our aim was to build a bridge between the timeless tradition of this motorcycle and the modern elegance of Shinjuku.
The styling? Inspired by the vibrant colors of a night out in Tokyo. Not too overpowering, but eye-catching enough to attract attention. It's the equivalent of a new suit for a Saturday night out in Shinjuku - classic, but with a bit of a kick.
In short, the Shinjuku' is our attempt to catapult the SR400 into the modern age without forgetting its roots. Check it out and let us know what you think. We hope you love it as much as we do.
