The KRODRACE racing series was hosted in Ludwigslust at the end of September. MC Ludwigslust is a club with a long tradition. The first horse race took place here 120 years ago. Since then, speedway grass track and motocross have been on the program.

The KROWDRACE was the first time that flat track sport was hosted in Ludwigslust
Without the support and hospitality of the traditional speedway clubs, flat track racing would not be possible in Germany. More and more clubs are opening their stadiums for training and racing events. Ultimately, this also strengthens the promotion of young talent and attracts new spectators and members.
In addition to Ludwigslust, our sport also counts the speedway clubs in Brokstedt, Nordhastedt, Moorwinkelsdamm, Jübek, Mulmshorn, Wittstock, Parchim, Wolfslake and many others among its supporters. The number is growing every year.

The clubs offer training Saturdays for flat trackers via their online presences during the season. The youngsters can do their first laps. Without any stress.
As a Yamaha species, we say: It would be boring without the competition from Honda, Kawa and the other classics. Every brand has its own special characteristics. That's what makes it special.

A weekend between canisters and candle keys, coffee and chips
Flat track racing - like many motor sports - has its origins in the USA in the last century. The events served as a promotional event for motorcycle manufacturers. This also made a lot of sense, as the internet still had 80 years to go before it came into being. Initially, the events were held on wooden "board tracks", but due to the numerous accidents, they quickly switched to flat tracks on compacted ground. The first official association, the AMA, was founded and the first professional racing series was established in the 1930s.
The motorcycle boom of the 1960s further fueled the popularity of the sport. Manufacturers' sales and visitor numbers at the racing ovals continued to rise.
Do something new. build a tracker and ride in the oval. it's fun!

Our hosts from MC-Ludwigslust went all out and gave the "new" sport a great time.
Rail service, catering, safety and assistance in all situations were world class. No wonder, after almost seventy years of active club activity, Lulu knows how the hare runs.
With the KROWDRACE series, the sport has experienced a renaissance in Germany. We KEDOs think it's great and are involved as participants and supporters.
