The organizing team around Jörg Solar writes: "In order to give the youth and the many young at heart a chance to bring their mopeds to the start, we have introduced a moped class. With 50 cc and air-cooled engines, drum brakes and with contemporary suspension elements, they can compete - in exceptional cases also outside the classification with up to 80 cc.
As in the hobby and sidecar classes, the steep slope will also be removed from the course for the mopeds."
