Anyone who owns an XT or SR and restores, optimizes or maintains it has certainly spoken to us before. Help with product selection and technical problems is provided at KEDO by active motorcyclists and motorcycle mechanics. Many years of experience come together here and every question and concern is dealt with by the team. From the adjustment value to the seat bench shape to shipment tracking, everything that belongs to a successful screwdriver project is taken care of here.
Welcome to my homepage! My name is Daniel Doritz. The „DO“ in KEDO comes from me. When Erik Kerger and I founded the company in 1992, we could hardly have imagined where this path would lead us one day.
Today, KEDO offers a unique range of products and services for classic Yamaha motorcycles and their successor models.
More than 20 employees continuously develop, optimize and test our products, enabling our dedicated team to provide advice with expertise, experience and passion.
As you, dear friends and valued customers, are often in contact with our team, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you personally to my esteemed colleagues from the Service department.
One by one, my colleagues introduce themselves to me personally. I talk to them about their passion for motorcycles, their relationship with KEDO - and much more. Take a look for yourself. Have fun with it!“

Our Lutz is a real veteran. With over twenty-five years at KEDO, he has seen almost everything - and has seen the development of KEDO GmbH into its current form with rolled-up sleeves.
Countless engine overhauls, hundreds of product tests, thousands of kilometers on African roads and a versatile fleet of vehicles combine to create the perfect recipe for a first-class service man.
Lutz knows all about oily matters such as the engine technology of our classic cars.
And he is excellent with people: Many customers know him not only from the phone, but also from the starting lines and campfires of various motorsport events.
Lutz is more than a pillar - he is one of the pillars.
His passion for motorcycles extends far beyond the XT/SR cosmos. „Fantastic machines also come from Italy and France,“ says Lutz regularly - and rides off into the sunset on his Yamaha XT.
As the direct link between service and the master workshop, Lutz ensures that engine repairs at KEDO produce the results for which the company is renowned.

On every ship that steams and sails, there's one person who takes care of things - and that's our Carsten.
A powerful mixture of North German precision and West German openness. With twenty years at KEDO, Carsten is way ahead in terms of years of service experience. And because he speaks very good English, it goes without saying: Call us up - you're more than welcome.
Carsten not only knows the Yamaha SR500 in its original condition, but also in its thoroughly optimized form - down to the smallest detail. As a trained mechanic, with his own experience as a dealer and a wealth of product knowledge, he ensures that orders, advice and processes run smoothly.

Björn is an experience on the phone, if only because of his distinctive voice. Expert knowledge, patiently explained - with Björn you are definitely on the right line.
Hardly anyone juggles the sometimes astonishingly complicated processes of shipping software with such aplomb. As a trained businessman, he brings structure and clarity to every detail.
And as a true driver of the Yamaha XT Björn is an integral part of the Hamburg scene. A lot of experience comes together here.
As a curious person, Björn rides with foresight when it comes to models. A modern Yamaha Ténéré 700 is also in the stable, and it's best to ask Björn first what the little special features of a TT500 are.

KEDO has around 8,500 different items in its range - and the trend is constantly changing.
This is because new products are constantly being added, further developed or created from scratch. Accordingly, there is a lot going on in the warehouse and in sales.
This is exactly where Nils is in the right place. As the contact person for suppliers and customers, he takes care of the important issue of quality assurance - attentively, reliably and with an eye for detail. His calm and level-headed manner helps enormously in solving even the trickiest cases with confidence.
Nils is a real family man, a great colleague - and someone you can always rely on.

A jack of all trades, a universalist with a background in crafts and media.
Markus has a wide range of interests and has already worked on many things that today make up the program of KEDO from 250cc to 500cc to 600cc models.
Markus joined the KEDO team in 2020. Like many others, he was initially a customer for a long time before becoming part of the team. In the northern German classic community, Markus is close to the action, popular and well known. His willingness to help is legendary and is appreciated far beyond the gates of KEDO.
Countless kilometers of travel on Yamaha XT and Yamaha SR and far too many of our own conversion projects have allowed both our wealth of experience and our fleet to grow considerably. Vintage MX, flat track, cornering - we try everything. And usually one or two matching motorcycles are created in the process.
Markus is satisfied when everything runs smoothly and everyone is happy. It's not always easy - but after all, you should have goals in life.
