Venue: The Hetendorfer Berg-Ring, the motocross track of the MSC Munster e.V. in the ADAC
On October 18, 2025, MSC Munster hosted the annual final round of the LVMX Championship on the Berg-Ring in Hetendorf. Despite the freezing cold, more than 50 participants gathered to compete for the coveted laurel wreath on classic motocross motorcycles in five classes.
Due to the great popularity of 4-stroke machines of the 70s and 80s, a special class was introduced for them.
And so the KEDO-Dirt-Team, represented by Stephan and Steve on XT and TT500, found themselves not only between HL500 and Honda XR, but also next to Rotax four-valve bikes or Suzuki SP.
In addition to professional timekeeping with transponders and a perfectly prepared course, MSC Munster also provided the best catering and a heated party tent. There was also a track announcer. An experienced sportsman who explained the race and technical details to the spectators, who had turned up despite the cold but sunny weather. Perfect.
After the free practice session, during which the participants were able to get used to the track, it was time for each class to compete in two races.
As usual in the past, the race was started with a rubber band starting system, after which the starting field tore through the Hetendorf sand for 15 minutes. As the number of laps increased, the track became more and more challenging due to the many waves and ruts and demanded a great deal of concentration and stamina from the riders.
The relief was all the greater to see the black and white checkered flag after the time had elapsed.
All in all, it was another fun and successful day for the KEDO Dirt Team and a successful end to the racing season.
A special thanks goes to the MSC Munster for organizing and hosting this great event, of which there are unfortunately still far too few in the north for our taste.
As we have seen again, interest in classic MX events is growing, which gives us hope that one or two will be added in the future.

The Steve. Doubly honored, so you can grin at full width. Congratulations!
It's great to see how the MSC Munster approaches the equipment for this really great racing event.
At the 1976 World Cup, the wreaths were certainly no bigger or more golden.
With first place in training and the two races, Steve took the crown and also the „Erwin Röhrs Memorial Cup“. This goes to the fastest four-stroke rider and honors Erwin Röhrs, who dedicated his life to the service of the sport for many decades. MSC Bergen. His contribution to the sport of motocross cannot be praised enough.
Steve has worked hard and consistently for his victory. Always close on his heels:
Scene great Gert Thöle on HL500, Dr. Erik Brandenburg, Thosten Starke, Henning Wiese, Cracy Markus Streffing, Jörg Solar, Siggi Völker and many more warhorses.
Congratulations to all participants. Thank you to everyone who brings the greatest hobby in the world to life.
Classic Moto Cross lives.
