Nuts & Bolts "XSTART" retrofit e-starter
The "XSTART" contains a 1 kW starter motor with alternator cover, adapter for the original pole wheel, freewheel, drive chain and starter relay, all the necessary accessories and detailed, illustrated instructions for quick and easy installation.
A lithium battery pack (LiFePo4) replaces the existing vehicle battery. To ensure the maximum service life of the battery pack, we recommend the simultaneous use of a modern rectifier/charger regulator (Art. 41508) with precise voltage regulation. The original regulator of the SR500 measures the battery voltage via the ignition switch, so the battery charging voltage may be above the optimum value.
The starting current of the starter motor is 300A, with a peak current of 600A, the 4S lithium battery has sufficient reserves. The temperature range of -20°C to +60°C is absolutely suitable for practical use.
