We offer two different versions of the XT500:
XT500-'85 (standard 6V with 12V conversion if necessary, original pole wheel absolutely necessary)
XT500'86- (standard 12V, original pole wheel absolutely necessary)
The "XSTART" contains a 1 kW starter motor with alternator cover, adapter for the original pole wheel, freewheel, drive chain and starter relay, all the necessary accessories and detailed, illustrated instructions for quick and easy installation. The lithium battery (LiFePo4) is located in a housing modeled on the original toolbox and is mounted in the position of the original toolbox.

The engine guard and gearshift must be adapted or replaced.

Our upgrade kit makes the electric starter even more suitable for everyday use.
The ready-to-plug-in kit is conveniently installed between the original wiring harness and E-starter and ensures that the E-starter can only be used when the ignition is switched on and idling.
The black aluminum housing of the button is only 12 mm thick and matches the original throttle housing of the XT very well. The switch relay we use works with 12V, so unfortunately the upgrade kit cannot be combined with the original 6V electrics.

Our upgrade kit makes the e-starter from Nuts & Bolts even more suitable for everyday use.
The kit is connected to the rev counter wiring harness using a branch connector (e.g. Art. 41764/41764LED) and ensures that the electric starter can only be used when the ignition is switched on and idling.
The black housing of the button is only 10 mm wide and fits between the handlebar switch and the brake lever. The red start button is easy to reach with the thumb. The switch relay we use works with 12V, so unfortunately the upgrade kit cannot be combined with the original XT500 6V electrics.
